Missing Thermistors

Dealers should be sent a few thermistors, and should stock a few for servicing.
- Mail one thermistor for Outdoor Air, plus a resistor for Outdoor Coil need to be supplied and installed on the PCB sensor terminal.
- Thermistors require solder connections for extending the length with 20-g bell wire. Do not attempt twisted or crimped connections because the resistance changes over time resulting in false temperature readings.
- Careful attention to the thermowell is critical to ensure the copper bulb is sensing the water temperature. Thermal-grease is recommended.
