SunPump has updated portions of the SP2.3 Manual, including more clarity on operating the Controller. Please download the attached PDF at the page bottom to get the December 2016 revisions. Any feedback is appreciated, since we do not have a working sample. There is a lot in common with the 2016 SP3.0 Controller, but they have small differences in the sequence of buttons to change Parameters.
TIP: In cold climates, try changing P3 from a Value of 0 (heat pump only), to 1 (Hybrid Mode aka "Constant Heat Mode"). This will allow the electric element to get power to boost the water heating, when the conditions in other parameters are met for start temperature below actual water temperature (yes lower), and the set time in minutes is reached without the Compressor increasing the water temp by a degree.See P04-P07.
