1.  If your SunPump Wired Controller is black and looks like the picture below, follow this instructions for the DC Variable-speed 5.6, 8.4, and 11.2 kW models.


This is one style for DC variable-speed models like the 5.6, 8.4, and 11.2 kW. 

The 7, 14, and 21 kW AC single-speed is beige with smaller buttons, and detailed in the lower page.



A. To access the wired Controller Parameter Settings, you can follow these steps and watch the video below.


  1. ON button held 4 seconds will remove Lock Icon and turn on the screen backlight

  2. CLOCK+ARROW UP buttons together held for 4 seconds reveals P1 and Value for water set point temperature.

B. To access the wired Controller Data Values, you can follow these steps and watch the video below.


  1. ON button held 4 seconds will remove Lock Icon and turn on the screen backlight

  2. CLOCK+ARROW DOWN buttons together held for 4 seconds reveals d1 and Value for actual tank water temperature.




2.  If your SunPump Wired Controller is beige and looks the picture below, follow these instructions for the AC 1-speed 7, 14, and 21 kW models.





A. To access the wired Controller Parameter Settings, you can follow these steps and download and print the attached PDF below.


  1.  ARROW UP & DOWN buttons both held for 10 seconds will remove the Lock Icon (or lock - if required) and turn on the screen back-light
  2.  SET buttons together held for 10 seconds reveals parameter 1 and Value for water set point temperature.

  3.  ARROW UP button is used to scroll through the Parameters and Data values.

  4. SET button click will Save and Exit.
