For installs near Vancouver and Victoria BC the Inspectors require Double Wall protection of the potable water. SunPump can be installed to satisfy this requirement by swapping the tank content from potable water to heating water, using the copper immersion coil as the pre-heat for Domestic Hot Water. This alternate install method is up to the Plumber to follow. While 99% of North America does not have a Double Wall requirement,, it is a known issue in Coastal BC and should be addressed in advance with the Inspector to avoid challenges.
