If you get a E12 Inverter Board Error, this is the place to find a solution.
Our first SP2.3 install at the Surrey Lab displayed this E12 Error initially, but it went away and never came back. The cause seems to be a cold temperature start that has trouble overcoming the lubricant thickness. Once it runs for a while, the oil is well disbursed and the issue is resolved.
We also noticed E12 seemed to be related to turning the unit off then back on before the high and low pressures equalized. Waiting 5-10 minutes or until the gauges are about the same avoids the compressor trying to overcome a large resistance from the start.
A second E12 in Eagle Bay is under review during the first week of December 2015. It was colder there and startup was not achieved yet. Update, the software code was incorrect on just the two 5 kW models. We had a writer sent so the Code could be upgraded, and that worked fine.
